Dr. Kim Janatpour, M.D.

Medical Director

Kim Janatpour, M.D., M.A., brings nearly 20 years of laboratory medicine and pathology experience to NextGen Laboratories. Having held numerous leadership roles in the industry, Dr. Janatpour did her pathology residency training at UC Davis Medical Center and completed a hematopathology fellowship at the same institution. She also holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Research and has an extensive background in hematopathology research. Dr. Janatpour is board certified by the American Board of Pathology in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology, and Hematopathology, and holds memberships in the American Society for Clinical Pathology, and the College of American Pathologists.

Kent G. Johnson, MS/FT, NRCC/TC

Laboratory Manager/Forensic Toxicologist

At NextGen Laboratories, Kent G. Johnson, MS/FT, NRCC/TC, currently directs general drug screening/confirmatory processes and procedures, on a local and national level. He has been in the field of toxicology for 40 years, serving as a Responsible Person (RP-SAMHSA), Laboratory and Scientific Director under the College of American Pathologists (CAP) over the past 25 years in laboratories in Texas, Oregon, and California. He has a Bachelor of Science degree from Georgetown College and a Master’s degree in Forensic Toxicology from the University of Florida. Mr. Johnson is licensed as a Toxicological Chemist under the National Registry of Certified Chemists (NRCC/TC). He is a full and practicing member of the Society of Forensic Toxicologists (SOFT) and the American Academy of Forensic Sciences (AAFS).

Min Ding, MS

Director of Laboratory Operations

Min Ding joined the company in 2016 and brings over 15 years of experience in the healthcare industry, in the areas of research, product development, compliance, reimbursement and healthcare policy, global sales and marketing, and operations. Mr. Ding received a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Master of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Southern California.

Jeremy White, Esq.

In-House Counsel

Jeremy White serves as In-House Counsel for NextGen Laboratories. He has worked extensively in the field of health law, including serving in similar capacities for large medical equipment suppliers and pharmaceutical companies throughout the United States. Mr. White earned his Juris Doctor from Elon University and his Bachelor degree from the University of California at Los Angeles. He has been admitted to the bars of California and North Carolina, and is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association.
